my iPhone 6+ won't restore itunes send my error 53 in the middle of the restore

    Error 53 based on the information that I've gathered is a hardware issue that stems from Touch ID.

    The recurring theme between the reports seems to be replacement of the screen or the home button.

    When a home button is replaced with a button from a different the device it causes an issue with the Touch ID functionality leading to error 53.

    What I would recommend doing is calling apple support and going over some troubleshooting steps with them.

    If a backup / restore does not resolve the issue then take the device in for service or mail it in.

    Something like this should not be considered accidental damage so it should be free.

     

    Now if you're out of warranty then you're out of luck as with any manufacturer.

    Es imposible que se haga Caso omiso y no encuentre Una solución para un gadged que No es nada  barato, el erro fatal 53, que ni la misma apple tiene respuesta Estamos de Acuerdo Que Si compro auto y a este se le arruina un faro y por no encontrarme en Una ciudad Donde Exista un técnico Especializado para poder sustituir el faro de DICHO auto, al Hacer el Cambio funcione Y Cuando pida Actualización para dar mejor calidad de luz. Deje de funcionar mandándome por un error al no haber hecho uso del Centro Especializado. y Deje de caminar por el Cambio este cambio ¡¡COMPLETAMENTE ABSURDO !!! y después no quieran Hacerse Responsables con las garantías por porquerías que mal fabricadas y repito no son nada baratos... falta la cabeza de esta compañía  --lastima ya murió

    Today my iPhone 6 complained about the Touch ID component. Researching the error advised the only solution is to restore the phone to factory settings. So made a backup to disk and then attempted resetting the phone. The reset and restore resulted with the Error 53 message. I tried resetting and restoring from backup several times only to receive the error message halfway into the validation process. Researched and read many messages advising the only solution for Error 53 is to take it in to Apple for repair. In my last restore attempt, I came across this Apple Support Doc If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support from the bottom of this page Get help with iOS update and restore errors - Apple Support for the unrelated Error 1015. Following the directions to "manually put the iPhone device into recovery mode" made all the difference than just plugging in the lightning cable. This allowed me to get passed the midpoint where the Error 53 message would appear and successfully restore my iPhone 6 from backup. I had to redo all my settings as if it was the first time, including the Touch ID configurations, but I'm back up with my iPhone. No trip to the Apple Store necessary!!!! Hope this helps others...

    iphone 6 and iphone 6 plus error 53 cause by your Lcd backplate flex cable connector to home button flex cable is damaged. Replace you backplate flex cable then your error 53 is gone...

    fui a ishop Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas México. y la sorpresa es que no pueden meterle mano ni darme un equipo nuevo por que fue reparado el telefono en un centro no autorizado y perdió la garantía, carajo en México no existen centros autorizados ni certificados para reparar los equipos, eso si el dependiente con aires de saberlo todo, omnipotente y muy descortés --textualmente dijo insulsamente a mi esposa "NOSOTROS NO ARREGLAMOS  NI REPARAMOS EQUIPOS, PIDA LAS PIEZAS A EUA O ENVÍELO PARA QUE LO REPAREN ALLÁ, POR QUE EN NINGUNA PARTE DE LA REPÚBLICA EXISTEN CENTROS CERTIFICADOS APPLE PARA REPARACIONES"  de que se trata, acaso cuando pague el equipo dije que me recibieran corcholatas.. en vez de dinero... no verdad!!!... que poca manera  y que falta de ética tiene .. NO COMPREN PORQUERÍAS.... menos cuando la misma apple .. no encuentra el conflicto con el error 53. NI SUS INGENIEROS  NI SU SUPER SOFTWARE HA PODIDO solucionar el conflicto.. solo cambian el equipo.. que mal

    Thanks for this - had the same problem with my iPad Air 2 - forcing the manual restore has worked a treat. Latest iOS, no finger print ID but not the end of the world for an iPad anyway!

    Make Sure That Your Home button is orignel

    If your iphone is in Warranty Take the Advantages of Warranty

    es verdad, ninguna solucion? existe alguna manera de saber si el boton home que tiene mi iphone es el que trae de fabrica? ya que lo compre de segunda mano y luego de actualizarlo quedo asi
