Where does iTunes look for its files in Windows 8.1?

My apologies if you have already seen this question from me, but I can't find it anywhere in the forum, so I am asking again.

I recently purchased a Surface Pro 3 and want to sync my iPhone5 and iPad 4 with it. I backed up both devices on my old PC (running Windows 7) prior to attempting to sync with the SP3. I also transferred all my iTunes files from my old PC to the new one, placing them in the same file structure that they were in in my Windows 7 PC. Then I tried to sync my iPad. It took me a while to get my apps, music, tones, and Outlook Calendar/Contacts/e-mail to sync properly with my iPad, although my Outlook files were a mess. But I cannot get iTunes to find my movies and audiobooks. Does anyone know where I need to put those files in my SP3 so iTunes can find them? I am not going to sync my iPhone until I get all this mess correct on my iPad. 🙂

Thanks in advance!

Jill

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Hold down the option (alt) key (shift on Windows) and open iTunes. At the prompt to create or choose a library choose the copied iTunes folder.
