Jan 9, 2015 10:24 AM in response to james33224by Drew Reece,★HelpfulYou need to configure it on the Chromecast or TV - a wifi connection to another device is not going to support the same features as a direct cable connection.
The other option you have is to use a cable & connect directly to the TV. See Chromecast's manual or it's user forums for info on how it handles overscan.
