Mac Pro 2013 + Swit S-1221F monitor

Hello,

I have an issue when I'm trying to connect my Swit S-1221F monitor on my brand new Mac Pro 2013.

Image is blinking all the time (less than 1s with image then 4-5s black). Same on HDMI and Thunderbolt ports, with various cables... HDMI output working fine with another monitor. Swit monitor working fine on a MacBook Pro, and iMac with Belkin TB > HDMI cable.

Any idea?

Cheers,

Jerome

Hey jroussel,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

It sounds like there is a flickering issue with the external display when it's connected to your Mac Pro. The article linked below provides a lot of great information and troubleshooting tips that will resolve most issues like this one.

That problem could be caused by the display struggling to sync with the signal provided by the computer. There are tons of custom settings in the display, and the manufacturer may have some guidance about what should be adjusted for best picture stability.

I found a manual here, but no specific recommendations in it:
