Q: iPad Retina sound frequently stops working

I have an iPad Retina with iOS 8.1.2

Regularly the sound on my iPad will stop working. Lately it's been happening when I plug in headphones. I will lose sound to everything; apps, music, videos, clicks. It will often take multiple hard resets to get the sound back. Is there anything else I can do to prevent this from happening. It happens often enough that it is problematic. Thanks for your help in advance.

iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 8.1.2, 32gb

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like the sound cuts out with headphones. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.
