Q: Email bombardment of Apple  Support Community mail.

My email account is being swamped with Apple Support Community email. I have a gmail account and I am being sent email from this site in the amount of 20 to 30 emails a day.  It is putting my gmail account in overload. How do I stop this?

Click here and turn off the email notifications. If you don't want them all turned off, go to each of the areas you want to unfollow and click the Following button at the top right corner; if you're running ad-blocking software, you may need to temporarily disable it.

Thanks Niel,  Hopefully this will work.  I did try to turn off email notifications once already.  It seems the button turned on again.  I also clicked the "following" button off just before I received your reply.  I will confirm if this worked.  Thanks again.

If all the emails are from the same Forum go to that Forum and make sure the Follow check mark is grey. Earlier today you asked about a previous discussion you had. That discussion was in the Using iPhone Forum, that's where I'd look first.

I may be late to the party... You either have solved your issue because

    • You are not following any "Places" (Communities like Using iPhone as bob illustrates)
    • You are only "Following" three threads, two of which you Authored - and they have a total of 11 replies (you get only notices of replies to threads you are Participating in by default)

Pardon the post if all is now well, but I personally would not want NO notifications at all.
