Does anybody know what invalid host means when I go to General > Usage > icloud > Manage Storage > Backups?

IIt means that you haven't named your iPad yet. Go to Settings>General>About>Name. You will see that Unknown Host name in there. Tap the x to remove that name and then name the iPad whatever you want to name it. Then go back to the backup and see if it is showing the new iPad name.
Thanks Demo. For a minute I was worried it was a virus. I gave my iPad a name like you said.
The night before last, I finally activated my new iPad Air 2 that I got for Christmas. When I connected the iPad to my MacBook Pro to restore the backup of my iPad 3, I noticed the name in there. Apparently all of the new iPads are named Unkown-Host "at birth". I know that I never saw it before on any of my other iPads.
I believe in the past, they were just "iPad" and "iPhone"...odd that they now have this new birth name. 😐
