Hello All,

I'm in the middle of a discussion with Numbers, and need absolutely to show some screenshots of my tables.

The .pdf I want to send made with Aperçu, are between 93 and 162 Ko.

It won't upload to the plateform. Each time it says: "make sure your file is under 2 Mb".

What is i'm doing wrong ?.

Thanks for your help.

What method of "taking" the screenshot are you employing? OS X built-in makes .PNG files

a .pdf is not an image - it is a container file - it is not supported as an image file type, even though you are able to "choose" it in the dialog. I get the same thing you do when attempting to insert a PDF as an image (this is an OSX native shot)

You cannot "Attach" files here like you can at other forums an to emails. If you need to make a file available, you must store it on some cloud and provide a link to download it.

lionel - bonjour

Capture sounds like the Mac App 'Grab' - whose native filetype is TIFF. This SiteWare does not 'like' TIFFs that much either... here''s what happens to a 720K sample TIFF

Same image, Saved AS from Preview.App as a 104K PNG file

The SiteWare used to UPLOAD the file but only displayed a LINK that, when clicked, displayed the image in the "Viewer" PopUpPane. Apparently the fix for that was to stop supporting TIFFs altogether. 😉

Unless your App "Capture" has some very special annotation features, I would simply use OS X built-in ScreenCapture features.

⌘ Command + ⇧ Shift > Press ' 3 ' > release all three = entire display, menu and all

⌘ Command + ⇧ Shift > Press ' 4 ' > release all three = selection tool

* Both of the above save files to the Desktop

** You can capture to the Clipboard instead by ⌃ Control + ⌘ Command + ⇧ Shift > Press ' 3 '(or 4) > release all four > Paste - like this

There are other more robust Apps that folks here use, both System wide and In-Browser add-ons

lion*N*el (pardonner mon erreur)

A lot of folks forget that the Mac OSes have paved the way for many features throughout the years. Sometimes even I forget to search the Mac Help files when I need a solution to a task

Aditionally, every Mac App "worth its salt" will have one of its own

Unless it is absolutely necessary to annotate an image - i use the OSX screenshot exclusively
