iPhone 6 head jack messed up

Got the new iPhone 6 for Christmas,tried out the headphones plugged them in and they won't go all the way in the jack like in the other Apple devices the headphones snap in on my iphone it won't snap in, theirs nothing stuck in their it's brand new please help
