Restore the backup you made prior to the upgrade to Mavericks after erasing the disk drive.
how?
Do you have a backup?
I have icloud???
An iCloud backup is not going to help you in this situation.
Since you don't have a usable backup when version of OS X did your Mac have originally?
Here is my issue. I recently moved and the new internet provider and the router i bought do not support OS maverick. I need to revert back to lion or mountain lion and I do not know how. HELP PLEASE!
How did you find out or who told you that your router is not supported by Mavericks?
Please provide the full details, such as make, model and version number of the router.
When i hit setup from the dvd it tells me that I have an unsupported operating system and I need to be using Mac OS 10.5. blah or 10.5 . blah blah or later. I went to the linksys site and it say it will not support maverick. I can download something for it to support moutain lion. My router is a linksys N300 E1200 model.
My Linksys EA3500 works with no issues on Mavericks and Yosemite. Perhaps it is time to get a new router. Check Amazon or Ebay for some great deals.
You can't uninstall an OS X version. You would have to erase the drive and reinstall a prior OS version. That's why you should never upgrade without having a backup.
However, just about any router in the world should work with Mavericks, without the need of any DVD supplied software.
