Jan 10, 2015 7:32 PM in response to Bunny Earsby Kappy,Are you sure of your model? In 2007 there were two models from mid-2007 that would handle up to 6 GBs of RAM. However, there was a late-2006 model still made in 2007 that only supported up to 3 GBs. It was an iMac 6,1 model. The others were iMac 7,1 models.
Use System Profiler to determine the model IDs.
