How to replace WD Black2 Fusion Drive on iMac early 2008

Hello. Please help me.

I'm trying to replace the original HDD to WD Black2 Fusion Drive on iMac early 2008.

But I got an error when I did to eraseDisk or partitionDisk.

Error: "wiping volume data to prevent future accidental probing failed"

This error was not occurred in the case of WD Black2 connect to iMac by USB2.0.

But it's occurred by SATA connection.

How can I resolve it?

Not sure that the your WD drive is fully compatible with iMacs, and require a bit of work to set up.

I can only suggest you start again and read through the guide thoroughly, taking the steps to partition it slowly.

Unless someone else has something to add, I recommend you visit the WD support site as I have little to no experience with your problem.
