Q: How to pay an unpaid balance within the app store when payment method gets declined

I have been having a problem with my app store and Itunes recently as it has been declining my payment method repetitively. I have just discovered that the issue results in an unpaid purchases within Itunes. I have no clue whatsoever on how to pay this as my payment method keeps getting declined. All my card information is correct and to be sure i have re entered the info about five times. This is very frustrating as i am unable to download anything. I have been searching the internet for hours on a solution to this problem. Somebody please help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

What type of card are you trying to use as your payment method ? Not all debit cards seem to still be accepted - and they not be accepted at all in some countries. For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing) as on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you are (and which is therefore on your iTunes account). If your card is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if they aren't then you could contact iTunes Support and see if they know why it's being declined (but you might not be able to use a debit card) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

Do you have a different card that you could try, or are iTunes gift cards available in your country - if gift cards are then you could potentially use them to pay off what you owe and use as your future payment method.
