issues with logic X and uad apollo twin

Hello there guys!

I have recently purchased the Apollo twin solo and connected it via thunderbolt to my mac Mini and my DAW is Logic Pro X. I am experiencing serious latency problems when recording. The monitoring output comes out at Real time but the final recorded track is completely out of time. Any ideas???

Hi! I had exactly the same problem using Apollo Twin Thunderbolt on my MacBook Pro, recording using Logic Pro X.

I do not have the same problem using the Win on my MacPro.

After some tweaking, I realise the problem will go away if I set the I/O buffer size under my MacBook Pro to 32 instead of 256 that I usually use. I couldn't understand the logic, but it works somehow.

I do not think it is a problem of the computer or the sound interface. The problem will persist if it is due to either of these devices.

I think the problem is with Logic. For some weird reason setting a bigger buffer actually slows down the data acquisition, leading to the lag that we experience.
