Albums won't copy from iPhoto to iPhone

I recently upgraded to an iPhone 6 Plus. I'm also using iPhoto 9.6 on my iMacs running Yosemite v10.10.1. "Sync Photos" is enabled in iTunes but the albums I have checked aren't copying over. These are important photo albums I need to have on my phone for business. Someone please help.

Or, if you can recommend an alternative app for syncing/orgnazing photos on both my iMac and my phone that can also be viewed offline I'd be grateful. Thank you.
