Q: Apple ID

I Recently attempted to change my Apple ID. For some reason the new one is active but the old one is still associated my iCloud account. I cannot disable the account as it does not recognize my password. All attempts to sign in have failed. How do I disable my old Apple iD?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.2

If you are asked for the password for your old Apple ID and wish to delete the account, check out the steps in the article below.

If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud
