Can I restore cambria typeface to Pages?

Cambria and Calibri are Microsoft fonts included with MS Office for Mac 2011. They are not provided by Apple in OS X, or in any version of Pages. You will have to purchase and install Office for Mac 2011 to obtain these missing fonts.

Try searching for downloadable versions of the fonts that are compatible with a Mac. They may be free, they equally well may not.

Don't move the Microsoft Fonts, as this will step on some existing OS X fonts. This is why Microsoft installed the fonts in the Microsoft directory location. See the link in my previous post that explains why.

In Finder preferences, under Sidebar, check your computer name under DEVICES. This is important because you want to be able to navigate to the Microsoft font directory in the next step.

Instead, launch Font Book from Utilities.

1. Create a new Microsoft Font collection
   1. Click the + button in the lower left corner.
   2. Name the new collection Microsoft
   3. Right Click on the Microsoft collection name
      1. Add Fonts…
      2. Under DEVICES in the left panel
         1. Click your computer name
         2. In the next display, double-click MacIntosh HD or the boot drive name that you used
         3. Double-click Library
         4. Double-click Fonts
         5. Single-click Microsoft and choose Open

            The Microsoft fonts will be opened, checked, and associated with your Microsoft font collection

2. The Microsoft fonts are now available to applications. (you may need to reboot before they are accessible as the font cache needs rebuilt)

Have you also tried looking for them in Format > Font > Show Fonts (i.e. not just the Pages dropdown menu)?
