Thanks for the quick response! I actually just upgraded the ram with new RAM from crucial - can the new RAM be faulty, or is it that its not securely in?
It could be faulty. It also could be the wrong spec if you didn't use their memory configurator menus to get the exact RAM for your Mac.
If it is faulty, Crucial should replace it. If you didn't use their configurator and purchased the wrong RAM, you'll have to talk to them about swapping it out.
