receiving update emails from apple but not verification emails

I am trying to sign on to ICloud on both my IPhone 6 and on Icloud on my laptop. I receive update information from Apple but no matter how many times I resend the verification email, I don't receive it.

I have ensured that the email did not go to SPAM. I have searched through my whole inbox. I am checking the correct email id. Please help!
