When I add an appointment in my calendar using my iPhone 5S, the location entry brings up recent locations. I have tried to clear recent locations by going to Google maps and clearing recent locations. Google maps then shows there are no recent locations. However when returning to my calendar to enter a new appointment, the current locations still show up. Has anyone solved this annoying problem?

I think I fixed this, for me at least. I pulled up the Calendar application on my MacBook and entered the name of the appointment that pulls in the location I wanted deleted in the search box. I found the original appointment and erased the location that was entered and "applied" it to the calendar. So far so good, it is no longer a default option that gets pulled in when I am entering my schedule.
I saw the questions about dropping pin locations on the Calendar. Several people asked. You were listed as having given answers but there was no text.
So first, please answer the question about deleting pins, then tell me why your answers didn't show up. Was there something else I was supposed to do to view them?
I have the same question and it looks there is really no way to delete these locations!? Are they saved in iCloud? I erased my iPhone completely and they are showing up again after syncing my calendar with iCloud.
My list grows and grows and gets more and more confusing.
Even when executing a complete reset without putting the backup back into the iPhone the data shows up as soon as I connected with iCloud. It looks the data is stored in iCloud and coming in again and again?
Deleting any contacts brings nothing.
@Apple, please, when will this be solved?
