Can i update my Macbook with Mac os X 10.4.11?

My current system is Mac os X 10.4.11 Tiger and I was wondering if I can run Snow Leopard on it, and if it supports some other system above the Snow Leopard like Lion or Moutain Lion. I really need to update my system because I can't use many applications because they were outdated, so I really need to update my system. Please help me.

Click here, install the DVD, run Software Update, go to the online Apple Store, and order a download code for Lion 10.7.

Mac OS X 10.7 and newer don't support PowerPC software such as Microsoft Office 2004. If you upgrade the OS, back up the computer first.

Your computer can’t run 10.8 or newer.
