Q: Restore factory configuartion Macintosh SE

Hi! I'm trying to restore the factory settings from my Macintosh SE. I don't have my floppy working and I bought a hard drive with system 7 Installed but I have 4 simm of 256 kb and can't use system 7. is there any way to restore factory configuration settings in this mac To have again system 6 And use it?

 

I Prefear avoid buy ram to use the system 7, most of the times i have upgraded the ram a lot of problems came out.

    It depends on the PowerPC G3 model.

     

    Certain models had an internal SCSI port as well as IDE/ATA. The standard hard drive was normally IDE/ATA, but a SCSI hard drive may have been installed too. Also, an adapter may be needed for the SCSI connector.

    It is always worth testing other SCSI disk utilities (for example, Lido 7.56). It is often possible to modify a normal startup floppy to hold a third-party utility.

     

    Apple HD SC Setup can only detect an original Apple drive that has not been reformatted by a third-party utility.
