Alex great idea freezes and won't play after paused iPad air 2

Alex voice is "better" than Siri regular. I like use the "speak" option to have her read boring material to me. I just downloaded Alex awhile ago and when I use him to read a page to me that's all it will do till it freezes or can't play after I pause. Or I can't get him to play the next page. To get him to work agin I have to go into settings and restart him/it then it will still only work for one page.

IM thinking there's no way I can fix it but maybe it will be fixed with a new update?
