Q: Wifi location error

I have an ipad and an iPhone and I recently updated my iPhone and it will not even locate wifi networks unless I'm standing right next to the source. if I get more than a yard away from the source it will disappear completely, but ny iPad doesn't have this problem, right now I am about 6 yards away from my current wifi source and my iPad has three bars, but my iPhone has zero bars, I have done everything I can, reset my iPhone to factory settings, reset my iPhone's network source, toggled my wifi, reset my iPhone, turned on airplane mode for thirty seconds, and more, but my iPhone's wifi still won't work. Please help me!!!!! I love my new iPhone but I don't love it's wifi problem.
