Q: Why I dont see the congratulations your iphone is unlocked message on itunes after following instructions from my carrier

Im out of contract on my at&t carrier so I requested device to be unlocked and was sent a confirmation email and a day later instructions on how to unlock. Did everything but yet did not get a message on my itunes that it was unlocked. So how do I know it is unlocked? Im using windows 7 on my pc. used the original SIM that came with phone and I did not get any error messages on my screen.

If anyone knows about this issue please let me know, thank you.

I have performed all the steps. I restored it as new, restored from a backup. Erased; Restored iphone from itunes. Tried all attempts. Nothing worked out. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If you restored as new and did not see the message then the phone is probably still locked
You can call Apple and ask what it shows on their database
If they confirm that it is still locked then you would need to call AT&T and work with them to get the procedure done

Have you tried inserting a SIM card from another Carrier and then attempted to restore your iPhone through iTunes?
