Privacy->Diagnostics&Usage->Data

Can others confirm this* really works? It would take a bunch of time to get all the location and privacy settings back to where I want them, and if it doesn't actually remove the diagnostics and usage data it would be wasted time.

Just sync your iPhone via iTunes, and they all will be gone. That's it.

what if you cant sync or backup?

Syncing with itunes did not remove them.
