Using Tiscali in the UK

I recently switched from a Dell laptop to a new MacBook with Mac OS X Tiger, 1.83GHZ Intel Core Duo (woo hoo!)

I had been using Tiscali DSL with a Sagem Fast 800 modem but it does not work with the new Intel Macs (according to Sagem, they will have an update December 2006). Unfortunately, that does me no good now!

So my question is this (and excuse me ignorance of lingo here): can I purchase another router or modem (unclear of diff?) so I can get online with Tiscali? Their customer service is horrible so I'd rather not have to go ask them until I absolutely have to.

Any help would be greately appreciated!

Yes you can use a ADSL modem with most ISP - I found this webpage on Tiscali that gives you setting to put in to the router plus links to various manufacturers of the modem's. You can get models with wireless as well.
