How to hide rows with merged cells?

I would like to know how to hide rows on numbers with merged cells, could do it normally at excel but I am not being able to do it at Numbers.

Felipe,

To hide a row with Merged Cells, Un-Merge first, then Hide. Select the Merged Cells and Table > Unmerge.

Note that this is only a problem with vertically merged cells when you want to Hide a Row.

If you want to Hide a Column, you can't have a Horizontal Merge that involves that Column.

Merging cells in Numbers can cause all kinds of problems. I avoid merging cells except then the table is one for presentation only and doesn't require sorting, filter, or hiding

Hi felipe,

I am with Wayne on this one. Messig with the Text alignment and using tabs can usually get things to display where your want them w/o merging cells. Oh, and uncheck wrap text. You can avoid all kinds of problems.
