Can I share tags (in finder) between my iMacs? If so, how?

I have 3 iMacs (2013) that access a shared folder remotely on a 4th iMac (also 2013) all running the same version of Yosemite. I am using one of the remote iMac's to tag some photos in finder (not a fan of iPhoto), but these dont then seem to appear when searched in finder on the other iMac's. Is there any way that I can share these tags so that all machines can tag and search for tags?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

I can duplicate your situation. Don't know if one is supposed to be able to search for tags on other Macs. Could be that your Mac needs to index the other Macs before it can read the tags.

However, labels can be searched across Macs. With Yosemite you can add multiple color tags to a file giving you a large, but very difficult to remember, variety of tags that can be added to a file. Don't know if you could work with that or not.
