The Upgrader Tool for iPhoto does not work. Most of my library is already iPhoto 9.5.1., but I followed instructions, and upgrader tool asked if I wanted to launch iPhoto (after it repaired permissions for "one or more files"). It tries to open iPhoto (bouncing icon) but fails.

I can not open iPhoto.

Details please

It is not possible that

Most of my library is already iPhoto 9.5.1.

A library is a single entity and is for one and only one version of iPhoto - it is something, it can not be mostly anything

And if the library is for iPhoto 9.5.1 then the iphoto library upgrader is not needed (and can not be used)

where is your iphoto library located? What version of iphoto do you have? Is OS X 10.7.5 as you state correct for your OS (if it is then you can not be using iphoto 9.5.1 - - it requires OS X 9.5.x

We need acute and complete details to be able to help
