Q: Cloud versus home sharing
Hopefully this is a simple question.
I have my 9000 song iTunes library on my WIN7 laptop. I use home sharing to acess it from my iPad and play it from the iPad via Bluetooth to a Canton DM50 speaker. Home sharing, even under iTunes 12.0.1 can be unpredictable...it can take a long time for the shared library to appear on the iPad and it can also drop without warning.
my question.....if I put my entire library into iCloud...can I simply then access it without the need for home sharing on the iPad and still play via Bluetooth to the speaker. I only want to use this option for music, no other media. I realise that I will have to pay for the required iCloud storage but i would see that as the cost of better reliability than home sharing offers.
thanks for any and all advice and opinion.
