i have a time capsule 2TB and iphone 5s and ipad mini 2
i stored all my movies on the TC and i can acces them by imac and apple tv
i just bought plex for ipad and iphone and don't now how to connect to TC
i want play these movies by ipad by plex connected to TC but don't know how to
please help

TC has no media extensions.. it is a dumb hard disk in a router.
As long as Plex can connect to a network drive it can work.. otherwise no.
Since the ipad has no ability to view files on a TC you can try using a file browser like.. filebrowser.
Apple designed their system exclusively for itunes.. and are not interested in giving a leg up to Plex.

Just curious.....say the TC disk has a problem.....(it happens)....how are you backing up all of the movies that are on the TC?
I don't think the TC has a problem i can acces in finder the map date and put all my files there

I did not suggest that the TC had a problem.
I was simply curious and asked how you were backing up the movies that you have stored on the Time Capsule......so, when the TC disk has a problem.....you will be able to restore from your backups.
I'm sure that LaPastenague can handle your other question(s).

The plex app is a client.. you must be running a plex server in your network..
Since the Apple Time Capsule cannot host any media.. since it has no media extensions it is impossible to support plex server on it. You must run a plex server on a computer or intelligent device.. TC doesn't rate as it is a fixed router with nothing to help you.
