Multiple iCloud signin requests daily

In the past few months, my iPhone (now a 6 but began with my older 4S) has begun asking me to sign in to my iCloud account multiple times per day. My sign-ins are successful but then I will be asked to sign-in again later ..........and later..... and later. Frequently, I am asked 3-4 times per day. I never previously had this issue.

What's the deal?

iMac, iOS 6.1.3

Hi docwgk1978,

Welcome to the Support Communities! If you are repeatedly being asked for your iCloud password, try these troubleshooting steps:

If you're repeatedly asked to sign in to iCloud using two-step verification - Apple Support

If you upgrade to iOS 8 from a device that's using iOS 6 or earlier, you might be prompted repeatedly to enter your password or verify your identity using two-step verification. You'll see one of the messages below:

  • Sign in to iCloud.
  • Additional Verification Required.

To resolve this issue, sign out of iCloud, then sign back in:

  1. Tap Settings > iCloud > Sign Out.
  2. Enter your Apple ID and password to sign in again.

Another thing I would try is to sign out of the iCloud account, change the Apple ID password, and sign in with the new password.

Apple ID: Changing your password - Apple Support

I hope this information helps ....
