how can you move music from CD's on your ipod without re downloading on a nbew pc?

I have over 7,000 music files. more than 1/2 are from music from CD's

I got a new pc and tried to move all the music on my new device.

only moved purchased items.

how can I get the music from the CD's w/o having to download all over again?

iPod classic, iOS 8.1.2

Hey rawill,

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you want to move non purchased music to the computer. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

iTunes: Transferring media from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or iPod - Apple Support

Music imported from a CD or other source
iTunes can't transfer this media back to your computer.
