My iphone 5 pairs with my bluetooth device ( plantronics m155) I can listen to music and everything works except when I try calling and recieve calls all I hair is a loud static niose. It works with other phones such as the iphone 6 and another 5s . Is something wrong with my phone what could it be ?

I have a Iphone 5s with software 9.2, I have hearing aids and a blue tooth adapter for them. I found the setting for Blue Tooth connections here. Go to "General, Accessibility and select call audio routing , Here you can select Bluetooth Headset. Your audio will be routed to whatever Bluetooth device is configured for a headset! Tech Support phone call was unable to help me.
