Q: Why was wattpad deleted from the app store?

We are just users like yourself and have no inside information as to why an app is no longer available. It's possible the app you have is not compatible with the newer iOS version and may have been deleted because the app developer quit updating their product.

It isn't because of the iphone you have or the IOS because I have the iphone 5s and the IOS 7.1.2 but the same thing happend. I tried several times to open it and it would just crash.

Save the app to iTunes on your computer, delete from the iPad then resync it from iTunes.

Wattpad developer here. We ran into a serious crash issue in the most recent version, which I'm assuming is what you're experiencing, so we pulled it from the App Store to prevent more users from updating to the version that crashes. We submitted a new version and it will be back in the App Store as soon as it's approved.
