Q: only playing first 21 seconds of a song purchased in the itunes store

I purchased a song from the iTunes store and it's only playing the first 21 seconds. I have tried re=starting my laptop and have the latest updates. any help?

    Hey there debbinz,

     

    If I understand correctly you have a song you downloaded from the iTunes Store, but it only partially plays. It seems like the download may not have successfully downloaded the entire file so I would delete the song and download it again in this manner:

     

    How to delete content you've downloaded from the iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, or Mac App Store

    Mac or PC

     

    1. Open iTunes.
    2. From the Library pop-up menu, choose Music.
    3. Click Songs in the navigation bar.
    4. Click the song you want to delete.
    5. Press Delete on your keyboard.

    In iTunes 11 or later, the album cover art will remain visible, but a Download  icon will appear on it to allow you to download the item again (in countries that support this).
