iTunes Error: 0x80090318

I've recently purchased iTunes Match but can't update it because I keep getting the following message:

iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. An unknown error occurred (0x80090318)

Make sure your network connection is active and try again

My computer is connected and I can use the internet so not sure what the problem is.

Please help as I've paid £20 for something I can't use at the moment.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like you have an iTunes store error. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

Hi Mario

Thanks for replying. I'd seen this when I googled the problem but it looked a bit technical for me but I'll give it a whirl and see how far I get. Cannot connect to iTunes store either so it's definitely connected.
