My iPhone has been restarting randomly. Sometimes it is on a restart loop. I stop it by pressing on the home and power key at once. Kind of annoying. Am I supposed to return this to the store or wait for an update that fixes this?

Thanks, but I do have the latest OS on the phone. I also checked the other steps. They are what I do when I encounter those problems. I am just afraid these problems have been happening quite often, and this is a fairly new phone.
The only other thing is a restore as new
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support
See how that works - before you load any apps etc
If the problem recurs then you need to bring it to where you bought it from - or a nearby Apple store if there is one
