PCIE SSD in a 2012 Mac Mini

Hello

Due to a lorry running over my 2014 Macbook air I now have a 256gb SSD pcie card spare! I do have a 2012 mac mini running a SATA drive and was wondering if its possible to upgrade it with the flash memory?

Only the 2014 model Mac Mini has the PCIe port on the logic board. So, no, you can't use your PCIe SSD in a 2012 model. Your 2012 model like mine has two SATA ports.
