My phone has to be placed in a certain position otherwise it won't charge at all. I have to manufacture the cable a certain way for anything to happen. The charger is fine, I've replaced the charger twice now and I have tried to clean out the charging port gently with a toothbrush. I'm wondering how much it'll cost to get this fixed?

If it's out of warranty $269. In warranty it's free. Try cleaning the Lightning connector using a bright light, magnifying glass, and a wood toothpick.
