Does Otterbox screen cover hurt the glass?

Does the Otterbox Commuter screen cover do any damage to the screen of an Iphone 6? I wondered if the stickiness of it would somehow mar the glass. I've got an Otterbox Commuter case on the IPhone 6 but am debating whether or not to install the screen protector. I like the nice smooth feel of the uncovered screen and the way it looks. I'm pretty careful with the phone but am not sure if I should count on the inherent anti-scratch capability of the phone's screen.

iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.2

hi.

Screen sticky protection don't damage or cause a sticky screen after being removed. once you take it off, It's going to be as if it never was there, only there won't be any scratches on the screen. I really suggest you add it to the phone. The moment you'll accidentally scratch the screen (it WILL happen), you'll be happy to scratch only the protection and not the iPhone screen.

Hope it convinces you
