When selecting true north in settings:compass. compass doesn't work. if i toggle true north off calibration and compass works. is there another setting interfering with the compass?

The problem was here...
privacy; location services; system services; compass calibration was toggled off.

make sure you have locations services for compass enabled.
yes its on, i also recycled, still doesn't work
What about location services for Maps?
