Thanks. I spent several hours today trying to get rid of this and your solution worked. What I want to know is how it got installed in the first place so I don't get it again.

You did what Apple couldn't do, and that is fix this nasty problem for now. I spent two hours on the phone, and was almost ready to do a re-install. I'm so glad I caught your post. I thank you.🙂
