My ipad 3 doesn't have the camera filter option. it is updated to the latest software and I actually only bought it this month from Apple. It's fustrating as I'd like to use this feature....please help!

Did you open the image and tap Edit?
Filters are not available in the Camera app on an iPad (only the iPhone). They are however available in the Photos app when you open an image and tap edit.
My iPad doesn't have the overlapping circles, I domt know why my boyfriend has the update and it works perfectly fine for him and he has the overlapping circles?
iit's there when I do that, but is there not a way for it to be on when I take my pictures?
Not on an iPad 3; you can only use filters after you take the image and in the Photos app. But they are the same filters.
