printer sharing during sleep
If the printer is to connected to an iMac that goes to sleep, is there any way to access it from a remote MacBook? Does sharing quit if mac sleeps?
iMac (20-inch Mid 2007), Mac OS X (10.6.8)

If you can screen share, you should be able to wake it up. Works for me.
I'm told screen sharing is handled by "Remote Management Service". Don't know how to modify that.
System Preferences/Sharing - make sure screen sharing is turned on for both computers. Then in Finder's Sidebar when you select the other computer, you should get 2 options - connect and screen share.
That was it. I had "Remote Mangement" selected which prevented me from selecting screen sharing.
Thanks
You are welcome.
