Q: My iMac shows my iCloud Contacts twice

When I open Contacts on my iMac all of my contacts under iCloud are duplicated in 2 different iCloud groups. If I delete one group, will it delete both?

It may,

start by going to Contacts>Preferences>Accounts and switch off (don't delete) the iCloud account, if both sets of contacts disappear do not delete them.

Actually, I've found in Contacts Preferences 2 iCloud Accounts for myself. That would explain why I'm getting a duplicate iCloud account showing up on the left side of my Contacts window. I deactivated one of the accounts and it cleared that problem up.

Now all I have to figure out is how to eliminate all the contacts that show up under All Contacts. There are duplicates and triplicates there. I keep running Find Duplicates but they keep coming back.

I've selected the iCloud Account as the primary for Contacts so that should kind of help things - I hope.

Duplicates have to be in the same account or Find Duplicates won't find them. Remove the deactivated account.
