itunes purchased movies not playing black screen

I suspect this has something to do with HDCP and a new update. I have windows 7, with a Radeon 6700 graphics card that is HDCP compliant, recently updated as well. Why won't my purchased itunes movies play??? This just recently happened over the last month. All itunes movies show the menu, but when I click play it's just a black screen. This is ridiculous that I pay for movies and now apple won't let me play them. And I've heard many other people with the same problem.
