How do you access family sharing on osx mavericks

If it does not seem to be working this was the final step that helped me. You need to change this to be yourself.

Mac with OS X Yosemite

1. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click iCloud.
2. Click Manage Family, then click your name.
3. Click Change, then follow the onscreen instructions.
