Mar 18, 2015 2:28 PM in response to chazzycby Mikedd0,I too have been having this issue where I assign a specific color flag to a group of emails on my MacBookPro running OS X 10.9.5 and almost immediately watch them turn back to the default red. I change them again and sone will stay and other will change back to red. This happens regardless if I select several at a time and make the change or select each email one at a time and then flag each separately. This is very frustrating as I use flag extensively for my project work to quickly get to a project and search for something.
Has anyone found any cause or correction for this at all?

Nov 13, 2015 9:50 AM in response to chazzycby David Matchett,Yes, me too. El Capitan on Macbook and iMac: why don't flag colors sync in Mail? iCloud not up to such a steep challenge?

Nov 14, 2015 2:39 PM in response to chazzycby Eric Root,Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

Jan 2, 2016 3:33 AM in response to chazzycby dmt1,I installed El Capitan last night: this morning the magenta flagged messaged in MacMail (previously on top for priority attention) are being displayed beneath the red flags (previously assigned to lower priority). How do I change the order back again?

Sep 5, 2016 10:21 PM in response to chazzycby shags2207,I can't see anywhere that anyone has found a "solution" to this really irritating problem. There seems no point in assigning flags if they change across platforms and at random!
